What is it...?

Hunter Palooza began in 2008 as a "Night Out" for hunters. The goal was to host a party for hunters and enjoy some hunting talk, good music, and raise a little money for a good cause.

In the 3 weeks we had to plan, Hunter Palooza went from a small gathering of hunters to a full blown event featuring gun raffles, tons of door prizes, 50-50 raffles, a band and being fully catered by Outback Steakhouse! The response was so great that we decided we needed to make it an annual event! Our small evening ended up with over 400 people through the front door. Together as a local hunting community we raised over $3,600. That money was donated to Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry.

Since Hunter Palooza 2008 we have grown every year and raised more and more money. Hunter Palooza 2010 was our biggest yet raising over $10,000! We spread the donations around a little last year. Still the majority went to Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry, but we also donated $1,000 to an organization called Young Guns which takes kids that may not otherwise have a chance to hunt, hunting on youth day.

As Hunter Palooza has grown, so have the donations! Last year many big name companies got involved and donated items for our raffles and auctions. We had 14 hunts to give away including 2 trips to Africa, a South Texas Whitetail Hunt and a Canadian Whitetail Hunt to Manitoba. We also had a huge silent auction with donations from Block Targets, SKB Cases, Rage Broadheads and more!

Hunter Palooza is about doing a little something extra for those in need. Famers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry is a great organization that helps many families get meat and protein they may not otherwise get. 100% of the proceeds from Hunter Palooza get donated every year and everyone involved with the event is a volunteer. The venue is donated and the cost to host this event is kept to a minimum so we are able to make the largest donation possible.

Hunter Palooza 2011 is shaping up to be the biggest yet!! Auctioneer Dale Dodson is going to MC the event and a film crew from a new Outdoor TV show will be there to film the entire event!
